Beautiful hand-crafted Maté gourds. Have your Yerba the traditional way!

Average Size: 150mm tall, 105mm diameter, but shapes vary greatly due it being a natural product. We will send the nicest one we’ve got in stock!

Made from the plant gourd, hand-decorated with traditional designs, set on a stainless steel stand.

Colors and shapes may vary since the gourds are hand-crafted by village craftsmen, so please contact us if you require specific design.

The preparation of Maté is a simple process, consisting of filling a gourd with the tea, pouring hot, but not boiling, water over the leaves, and drinking with a straw (the bombilla), which acts as a filter  to draw only the liquid and not the Maté leaves
